Seminars on how emergency personal should approach hybrids in crash situations

According to a press release by the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealer's Association (March 2nd), a seminar was sponsored on how emergency crews should approach and deal safely with hybrid vehicles involved in a crash. More than 300 first responders and EMT personnel were expected to attend and learn about standard operating procedures for hybrid vehicles involved in an accident.

Most concerns center on avoiding electrical shock from the larger batteries in hybrid cars.
