I am very excited to introduce the lovely Kate Endle as a guest blogger this week. I first saw Kate's magical collages in the downtown Seattle Anthropologie, this last summer and I was drawn into them, curious to learn more. Her work is full of life, and each piece has an intriguing childlike complexity. This week should be a great treat!

In 2000, after years of collecting decorative paper, she realized it was time to put her paper to use. With scissors and glue she has created a new venue for her love of design and color. As a result, she is currently pursuing a second body of original and recognizable art. Her collage work can be found in various galleries and boutiques on the West Coast. Exciting projects for 2008 include the release of children's book Trout are Made of Trees, Kids Can Press, Spring 2008 and a series of note cards through Papyrus.
