Removing the door glass or window on an S10 isn't that difficult. The hardest part in removing the window is getting off the door panel. When you have that removed you can get to the window easily. The window is held on by different tracks, when removing the window you need to be careful not to bend the tracks or you will have a hard time in putting the window back in.
Instructions

Lower the window about halfway and then remove the negative cable, which is black in color, from the battery. Use your pliers to remove the cable. When the cable is removed, you can then go ahead and start to remove the door panel.
2Get your Phillips-head screw driver and remove the screw that is located in the interior door handle. Pull the door handle surround panel away from the door panel. Take out the window crank by releasing the clip behind the door panel and pulling out the crank.
3Remove the screw in the arm rest with your Phillips-head screw driver. There will be one or two screws.
4Take off the door panel clips. There are a total of seven clips, three on each side and one on the bottom. Take your putty knife and insert it between the metal and the door panel, and push back on the tool to remove the clip. Do this to each of the clips.
5Push up on the door panel until the door locking rod pops off, then remove the panel completely. Set it aside somewhere safe. Lift up the piece of plastic.
6Remove the two bolts that are securing the front glass run channel. Remove the slide channel from the glass. Make sure to keep a firm hand on the glass so that it doesn't fall.
7Pull forward on the glass so that the window comes away from the sash panel roller. Push back on the window so that the widow comes away from the front sash panel roller. The window is now away from the rollers and is ready to come out.
8Grasp the top of the window firmly and pull up until the glass is completely removed from the door. Set the glass aside carefully, and make sure to put it somewhere that it will not get broken.
