Damage done to your Mazda MPV, despite what you might think, is not always difficult to repair. For instance, a crack in the driver-side window is one of the easiest do-it-yourself repairs that can be done, requiring little time and effort. It is important the right supplies are available for the repair to be done correctly.
Instructions
- 1
Clean the window with regular soap and water. Use a soft cloth or sponge, and then dry the area completely before proceeding.
2Put your safety goggles on, then place the suction stabilizer over the crack. Push down on it to create intense suction between the cup and the glass.
3Place the injector into the suction cup, then put the resin tube into the injector.
4Remove the injector, and push the resin into the crack through the suction cup. The natural vacuum will suck the resin out of its tube and into the crack.
5Put a strip of the adhesive film over the resin, and allow it to cure for several hours.
6Pull the film off of the repair, and remove any excess resin with the razor blade and soap and water.
