Rocks and other objects flying at high speeds always seem to target your vehicle while driving down the highway. This will generally only cause minor cracks and chips in your car windows, but if your cracked Jeep Grand Wagoneer windshield is in desperate need of repair, you can tackle the repair yourself. The necessary supplies can be found at your local auto store.
Instructions
- 1
Wash, rinse, and dry the window. Use a window cleaner and some water to clean it.
2Locate the damaged areas along the glass. Place the stabilizer onto the window over those areas.
3Stick the resin tube inside the injector, and then place the injector into the stabilizer. There is a dedicated hole for this, so use the stabilizer unit instructions if necessary.
4Pull out the injector to allow the suction to quickly build. The resin will be drawn from its capsule and it will quickly fill the damages.
5Remove the stabilizer after 15 minutes or so once the repair has been completed. Place the strips of adhesive curing film over the resin being careful not to smudge it during application. Peel the strips off after 2 hours.
