Latvian designer Kaspars Jurson has invented a novel toilet design to improve men's hand washing habits by including a built-in tap.

STAND is a sink and urinal combined into a single product, creating a multifunctional plumbing device. While you are washing your hands the water is reused to rinse the urinal placed under the sink. This saves water, time and space.
Recent research has shown that 15% of men don't wash their hands at all after using the bathroom, with only 50% of the men washing their hands using soap. Jurson hopes his design will be a reminder for men to wash their hands when faced with a tap on the urinal. Despite STAND featuring a hands-free tap that is activated by sensors, arguably making it more hygienic, opinion is divided as to whether washing your hands in a urinal really a good idea.
