The annual London Design Festival 2013 was in full swing when we made the trip last Thursday from the Midlands to the 'Big Smoke'. Arriving at 100% Design hosted by Earls Court, we were wowed by the dramatic entrance tunnel which reflects the full visual spectrum: 'Black and White and all the colours in between.'

We met Robert Grace, founder of Grace of London, who introduced us to his fabulous creation 'Harlequin' which took pride of place on display in the Bath Boulevard.

We headed over to LWK Kitchens studio based in Canary Wharf for an exciting event in conjunction with the Society of British Interior Design. Celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli demonstrated a fantastic culinary master class in preparing and cooking healthy recipes.

We caught up with Jean-Christophe Novelli who is a fellow triathlete, having competed in numerous triathlons over the past 15 years.

Will Taylor, founder of the hugely successful Bright Bazaar interiors website and blog, gave a talk about maximising social media for your business in particular Pinterest. The Bright Bazaar website has more than 400,000 visitors each month and 2.2m Pinterest followers.
