The Angry Asian posts a good look at No tubes at cycling news. Olympic rim. This is the rim I run and I concur with everything he says.
I use the rim strip instead of the yellow tape/small valve. Lately I've been able to inflate tires w/o any soap. I still use a compressor but have done it with floor pump alone. The trick is to take out he core when inflating then put it back in w/o losing all the air.
