The blower motor on your Mercedes-Benz C-class vehicle is located underneath the dashboard on the passenger side. Once you remove the screws, you can remove the blower motor from the blower unit and install a replacement. Although the blower motor is not necessary for operating your vehicle, it makes driving your C-class vehicle a lot more comfortable in the warmer months. The entire replacement procedure should only take half an hour.

Instructions

    Lift up the hood of the vehicle and use a socket wrench to disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.

    Open the passenger-side door. Remove the three screws securing the kick panel underneath the glove box. Remove the kick panel.

    Remove the five screws securing the blower to the vehicle.

    4

    Disconnect the blower's electrical connector and remove it from the vehicle.

    5

    Pull the motor from the blower assembly and install a replacement motor.

    Reattach the blower assembly to the vehicle and reinstall the five screws. Reconnect the blower's electrical connector.

    7

    Reattach the kick panel and its screws and reconnect the battery. Close the hood.
