Jaya (12) who lost his mother, driven to meet the sole surviving member of his family, namely his father, Johar (48). Johar worked in a fishing platforms, where the fish netting which is built on wooden stilts in the middle of the ocean. Platforms are remote and difficult to reach. There, unskilled laborers working and alienation is the daily reality. Johar darkly shadowed by the past can not make it back to the mainland since 12 years ago

The incident resulted in police custody when Johar definitely go back to the mainland. When Jaya arrived at the fishing platforms, he immediately rejected Johar who never knew that he had a son. Fully aware that she could not return to the mainland to take the boy, Johar was forced to accept work at Jaya

Petemuan is clearly leading to a situation that completely foreign. Parent-child relationship are not known to exist by both of them
