By 1997 the Ford F150 was well-established as a best-selling half-ton pickup truck. Up to 1996, the F150 was easily recognizable due to the angular body lines that had been used since the late 1970s. The 1997 F150 was completely redesigned and used Ford's new modular V-8 engines. The smooth and rounded lines of the 1997 F150 was a gamble that paid off for Ford. To keep your F150 engine running cool, the water pump must be in tip-top shape. Knowing where your water pump is located will be of great help if any maintenance is required.
