India is about to benefit from its new rules on importation of hybrid cars. By cutting the duty to 14%, India has paved the way for Honda to launch the Honda Civic Hybrid.
The price of the new hybrid has yet to be determined, although the Civic is sold for Rs 12 lakhs. It's unclear how well hybrids will sell in India, the home of the 1 lakh car.
