Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant (2009)

At first, Darren Shan (Chris Massoglia) is an ordinary young man with a high curiosity. Once Darren and Steve Leonard (Josh Hutcherson), his friend, heard the news that a circus would come to their town. Outside Darren and Steve's knowledge, this circus will be a new beginning for both their lives.

In this circus Darren and Steve saw many strange creatures that they initially thought was just a sham. Everything went normally until the two met Larten Crepsley (John C. Reilly) is mysterious. Steve Larten suspect is a vampire and trying to meet Larten without the knowledge of Darren. Steve wanted to be a vampire like Larten. Unfortunately Larten say that Steve's blood did not match and can not be changed into immortal beings like himself.
