Ford's F-Series line of trucks consists of the 1/2-ton F-150 and the larger Super Duty line. The F-250 was the smallest of the Super Duty line for the 2002 model year. While the F-250 had smaller brakes and lighter duty suspension components that the F-350 through F-550, they all shared several systems, including the interior and exterior lights. For safety and legality purposes, Ford recommends bi-weekly inspection of the exterior lights, including the turn signals. When you discover a burned-out bulb, replace it before driving the F-250 again.
