William Durant and Louis Chevrolet started the Chevrolet Motor Company in 1911 and began selling pickup trucks in 1918. Chevrolet released the C- and K-series of pickups in the 1962 model year, and it continued selling them through the 2000 model year. In 1999, Chevy released the all-new Silverado pickups alongside the classic C- and K-series pickups. The 2007 Silverado came in three sizes: 1500, 2500 and 3500. All three sizes used 22-inch wiper blades to keep their windshields free of water and debris. Anco offers customers five choices of blades for the 2007 Silverado, including: Contour, Profile, AeroVantage, winter blades and the standard 31-series blade.
Instructions
- 1
Lift one wiper blade upward off the windshield, until the wiper arm lock is in its upward position.
2Pivot the wiper blade about 90 degrees, until it is perpendicular to the wiper arm. Follow the wiper blade toward the center of its metal frame until you find where the wiper arm hook connects to the plastic clip in the wiper blade.
3Press the unlocking lever on the wiper blade, then push the wiper blade toward the base of the arm until the wiper arm's hook is clear of the plastic clip. Pull the wiper blade from the arm.
4Guide the new Anco wiper blade onto the wiper arm so that the open end of the wiper arm's hook is on the curved side of the wiper blade's plastic clip. Press the wiper blade toward the wiper arm's hook until the plastic clip clicks into place in the wiper arm's hook.
5Carefully guide the Anco wiper blade back onto the windshield.
6Repeat Steps 1 through 5 to install a new Anco wiper blade on the other side of the Silverado.
