Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment

The first micro-expansion Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment is currently undergoing further incorporation of beta feedback to maximize quality and will now be available February 25 for download on Stardock's digital download platform, Impulse.

Specifically, Entrenchment promises to bring fans a Starbase defense platform for each race, turret upgrades for each race, mine fields and a Subspace Inhibitor platform that will slow enemy ships within its range.

DeskScapes 2.5

DeskScapes 2.5, available later this month, will now allow Windows XP users to run animated wallpapers.

DeskScapes supports the new .Dream format. The .Dream format has been specifically designed to contain content intended to be used as animated wallpaper for Vista users. Now, with DeskScapes 2.5, XP users can enjoy playing video as animated wallpaper, dynamically generated content as animated wallpaper, and more.

Stardock prepares to open second game studio

Stardock was recently mentioned in the State of the State address announcing our expansion of the current games division and the opening of a second games studio in Michigan.

The new studio will create up to 50 much-needed jobs in the state of Michigan and will be responsible for an as-of-yet unannounced RPG title developed and published by independent developer Stardock Entertainment.
