SIFY LAUNCHES CRICKET STREAMING FOR IND-NZ SERIES
Sify Technologies Limited announced live online broadcast of the on-going India-New Zealand cricket series on its website. The URL - www.scores.sify.com - allows users to watch the live coverage and highlights of all the matches, which include Twenty20s, ODIs, and Tests.

ACT LAUNCHES INTERACTIVE TV SERVICES IN BANGALORE
ACT Television today announced the launch of ACT Interactive TV service in Bangalore with an investment of Rs 450 crores. In a press release, ACT claims that they have now become the first company to introduce Interactive TV service in the city. Interactive TV is a system that delivers content services to subscribers using Internet protocol over a broadband connection in a closed network infrastructure.

NOKIA TO LAUNCH LAPTOP RANGE
Mobile phone manufacturer Nokia has revealed it is considering launching a range of business laptops. According to Reuters, Nokia's CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo confirmed the move during an interview on Finnish TV. "We are looking very actively also at this opportunity," Kallasvuo said in answer to whether the phone manufacturer would diversify into the laptop market.

GOOGLE APPS DASHBOARD PROVIDES DOWNTIME DETAILS
Google has made good on a promise to keep its customers better informed of service outages by introducing a new dashboard for Google Apps. The feature comes after Gmail went down for a couple of hours worldwide due to a coding problem, although Google said last year it would make more efforts to inform customers after several Gmail outages last August.
