In the early years of pickup trucks, comfort features came secondary to the vehicles utility. As trucks progressed through the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s they, along with aforementioned comfort features, became more desirable. The 2007 F-150 was a good example of this progression, as even the stripped-down XL trim level came standard with an AM-FM stereo. Each of the 2007 F-150s five trim levels featured high-end audio options such as CD player, MP3 capability and a premium audio system. Replacing the 2007 F-150s factory radio requires removing just one dash panel to access the radios retaining screws.
