Was going to do cyclocross mock race, but due to rain went on the trainer

Dizzy after first set
drinking power bar energy drink 20oz bottle 42g finished it in like 15mins. didn't help dizziness.
Slammed another bottle Pbar energy drink - 42g after I stopped.

150g taken in 3hrs before riding.
50g taken in in hour preceding.
Daily total: 378 (6.6g/kg)

Thoughts
150g should be enough for a short ride, but should have been consumed 2hrs before ride. larger quantities should be completed 3hrs before a ride

50g in hour preceding was too low and elicited hypoglycemic reaction
