For any minibike, the throttle is an essential component due to its function as a fluid regulator, thereby affecting the power of the engine. Because throttles are mounted externally on a minibike, they are prone to damage and wear, but they are easily replaced.
Instructions
- 1
Move the twist grip so that the throttle conduit and cable are pointing downward in approximately the 5 o'clock position.
2Tighten the twist grips connector screws to lock it into this position during assembly.
3Pass the throttle cable through the cable retainer, which is a small, upside-down, U-shaped metal loop near the outside of the throttle mount.
4Connect the throttle conduit cable to the inner side of the frame with two conduit clips. The appropriate size of the conduit clips will vary based on the model of the minibike.
5Connect a third conduit clip to the cable conduit at a point near or on the engine.
6Loosen the twist grips connector screws to return it to its original position.
