GMC LED Cab Lights Installation

Installing LED cab lights onto your GMC vehicle is fairly simple provided that you have an LED cab light assembly. The process is simply a swapping procedure as you must remove the traditional light assembly and then install the LED assembly. It's a procedure that should take only 15 minutes to complete. LED cab lights last a lot longer than regular halogen-bulb cab lights and are also much brighter.

Open the GMC vehicle's hood. Use a socket wrench to remove the negative cable from the battery. Set the cable aside.

Remove the screws securing the cab lights to the ceiling of your GMC vehicle. There should be one screw in each corner. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws.

Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry off the light assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector from the assembly and remove it from the vehicle.

Install the replacement LED assembly and connect the electrical connector to the assembly.

Install the screws to secure the LED assembly to the vehicle. Reattach the negative cable to the battery and close the hood.
