The EGR, or exhaust gas recirculation, of your Nissan 240SX is located in the rear area of your vehicle's engine compartment. The EGR is an important component in the emissions system of your vehicle, reducing the output of nitrogen oxide. If you wish to perform maintenance on your EGR or even replace it, you will need to remove the EGR's cap or valve. This is a fairly simple process that should not take you more than 15 minutes to complete.
