How to Get Secret Power in "Pokmon Pearl"

In "Pokmon Pearl," Secret Power is a battle move that you can teach to your Pokmon through the use of a Technical Machine (TM): TM43. Any Pokmon that can use TMs can learn Secret Power. The move has a 30% chance of causing side effects -- the nature of which depends on the environment of the battle in which you use it. For example, in grass, the opponent's attack may be lowered, whereas in a marsh, its speed may be reduced. In addition to the side effects, Secret Power deals 70 damage points to the opponent.

Instructions

Travel to Veilstone City. Make sure you have a Pokmon that knows the move Cut. Exit through the western gate.

Make your way through Route 215. It will start raining.

Stop in front of the first tree you come across. Press "Start" and select the Pokmon that knows Cut. Use the move to remove the tree. You will be able to pass and pick up the move TM43.

Press "Start" and select "Items" from the menu. Select "TM43" from the "Items" menu and teach it to any Pokmon. That Pokmon will now be able to use Secret Power in battle.
