The fog lights of the Toyota RAV4 are important for driving in foggy weather. As the fog lights are an important safety component, make sure that they are always in working order. The lights are located underneath the headlights and can be wired properly within a matter of minutes, although you will need to go through the wheel well to access the lights. Be aware that not all models of the RAV4 come equipped with fog lights.

Instructions

    1

Turn the RAV4's steering wheel all the way to the left if you will be replacing the right fog light, or all the way to the right if you will be replacing the left fog light.

    2

Crawl underneath the front of the RAV4 and use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the clip from the panel underneath the wheel well. Pull the panel down to access the fog light.

    3

Connect the wiring connector to the bulb socket by pushing it into the socket, making sure the connector clicks into place. If you are replacing the fog light bulb, be sure to use a clean rag to handle the bulb.

    4

Reattach the panel to the wheel well and its clip.
