There may be a number of reasons why you may wish to remove the quarter panel window from your 1995 Eagle Talon. If the window has become damaged you will need to remove it in order to have it repaired or replaced. You may also need to remove the window to gain access to the lower door panel, should work be required on it. Removing the quarter panel window is fairly easy and can be completed in a matter of minutes.

Instructions

    1

Put on a pair of safety gloves. Unhook the rubber trim around the edge of the window from its connectors, using your hands. Slide a trim stick underneath the window trim and remove the trim from around the window.

    2

Remove the screws which hold the weather stripping in place, using a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the stripping away from the window.

    3

Cut away the gasket around the edge of the window with a sharp blade. Cut a hole in the top of the gasket and work your way around the window, removing the rest of the gasket.

    4

Pull all of the rubber gasket from around the window and discard it.

    5

Place one hand on the inside and one hand on the outside of the window. Press the inside of the window out using your hand and catch the window as it comes away from the window frame with your other hand.
