Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence - Ryuichi Sakamoto

I heard this song Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence today for the first time performed by Ryuichi Sakamoto and found it to be very moving. I haven't seen the movie that it is from, (staring David Bowie) but Sakamoto and these performers are pretty much genius, and I wanted to spread a little holiday cheer.



It has been a little tricky to track down, but there is a 2009 released import album Playing the Piano by Ryuichi Sakamoto that has a solo version of only him playing the piano "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" and it is stellar.
