In 1964, Ford challenged the automotive realm when it released the first car that experts classified as a "pony car." The Plymouth Barracuda joined the Mustang in the pony car class the same year actually the Barracuda is 16 days older than the Mustang, but the Mustang was first to receive the pony car tag and the Chevrolet Camaro popped in three years later. The 2007 Mustang, with its retro design, came standard with not-so-retro features, such as air conditioning, cruise control and power windows. Replacing the window switch bezel, the trim piece surrounding the power window switch, on the 2007 Mustang is a straightforward process that nearly any do-it-yourself mechanic can perform.
Instructions
Removal

Wrap the tip of a flat-head screwdriver with duct tape to prevent damage to the Mustangs trim from prying.
2Pry upward on the front-most part of the window switch bezel to disengage its retaining clip.
3Lift the bezel until you can access the power window switch wiring harness. Press and hold the unlocking button on the power window switch wiring harness and unplug the harness from the switch.
4Unlock the retaining tabs securing the window switch to the window switch bezel by prying each tab outward with a flat-head screwdriver and pulling that side of the switch down. Remove the switch from the bezel and set the bezel aside
Installation

Slide the window switch up into its cutout in the window switch bezel until you hear the switch snap into place.
6Plug the wiring harness into the receptacle in the window switch.
7Line up the window switch bezels retaining clip and locating dowel with their respective slot and hole in the door panel. Press the bezel down to lock it into place.
