Pulling a wheel bearing out of a blaster hub is necessary when the bearings become damaged and need replacing. The bearings sit in the center of the hub and are designed to make the wheel turn smoothly on the axle. Dirt and debris can cause the bearings to break apart if they get inside the casings and can cause severe damage to the wheel if not removed right away. Take the bearing out of the blaster hub with some basic shop tools.
Instructions
- 1
Remove the blaster wheel hub from the axle by unfastening the bolts in the back of the hub with a socket wrench. Loosen the hub with a rubber mallet.
2Slide the hub off the axle and locate the bearings inside the center of the wheel hub.
3Tap the front of the wheel hub with the rubber mallet to loosen the bearings and remove the bearings from the hub.
