The Trailblazer is a four-wheeled all-terrain vehicle (ATV) manufactured by Polaris. The Polaris needs weekly and monthly routine maintenance for it to run smoothly. Even then, some parts may still need to eventually be changed out, such as the carburetor. The Trailblazer carburetor mixes oxygen and fuel, which powers the internal combustion engine of the ATV. The Polaris Trailblazer features a carburetor manufactured by Mikuni. If it becomes clogged or extremely dirty and prevents the ATV from starting or running properly, it may need to be removed for cleaning.

Instructions

    1

Take off the Trailblazer's seat, by removing the bolts on the back-sliding seat forward, and then lifting it up and off.

    2

Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the air filter cover.

    3

Loosen the fuel line clamps with a screwdriver and then pull them off the carburetor jets by hand, or with a pair of pliers.

    4

Work the throttle linkage loose from the carburetor arm with a pair of pliers.

    5

Use a nut driver to take out the long bolts, holding the carburetor in place inside the ATV engine. Lift the carburetor out.
