How to Wire a Kawasaki 440 Snowmobile

The Kawasaki 440, also known as the Kawasaki Invader, is a snowmobile produced in the late 1970s. The Invader has a two-cylinder engine. In order to function properly, the Invader's battery must be properly wired, or the spark that ignites the engine will never occur. The battery of the Invader is located in the engine compartment and can be wired in a matter of minutes.

Instructions

    1

Turn the engine off and remove the Invader's keys from its ignition.

    2

Remove the two bolts and nuts from the rear panel with a socket wrench. Lift up the rear latch.

    3

Wire the red positive connection cable of the snowmobile to the positive terminal of the battery using a socket wrench. The battery is located close to the front of the engine compartment. Wire the negative connection cable to the negative terminal of the battery, and close the panel.

    4

Reattach the two nuts and two bolts.
