Fords 1994 F-150 is a member of the ninth-generation of F-Series trucks and the fourth-generation of F-150. The 1994 F-150 uses halogen headlights with replaceable bulbs. The bulb fits in a headlight housing instead of using a sealed beam. The front marker and turn-signal bulbs are mounted in a housing that wraps slightly around the fenders. You must remove the housing to replace the marker lightbulb.

Instructions

    1

Park the F-150 on a level surface and set the parking brake.

    2

Open the hood and remove the two screws from the top of the marker light assembly with a Phillips screwdriver.

    3

Look at the lower rear of the light assembly. Remove the two nuts from the assembly with a ratchet and socket.

    4

Pull out the assembly. At a glance, it looks like the headlight is part of the assembly, but it is not.

    5

Turn the marker light socket counterclockwise to remove it. Pull the bulb from the socket and insert a new one, using a clean, lint-free cloth to handle the bulb.

    6

Insert the socket into the light assembly and turn it clockwise to secure it. Install the assembly. Install and tighten the nuts. Install and tighten the screws.
