The ACG Golf Cart is manufactured by American Custom Golfcars. Like most vehicles, the motor of the ACG Golf Cart needs to be properly wired to the battery, otherwise the vehicle will not run. To wire the ACG Golf Cart, you only need a socket wrench to connect the negative and battery cables of the motor itself to the battery. This can be done in a few minutes.
Instructions
- 1
Turn the ignition switch to the "OFF" position and remove the key.
2Shift the handle into the "NEUTRAL" gear and make sure you lock the wheels before proceeding.
3Open the hood of the vehicle. Disconnect the negative battery cable by pulling it off with a socket wrench. Disconnect the positive cable next in a similar fashion.
4Wait 90 seconds before continuing. This will allow time for the controller capacitors to discharge.
5Perform the maintenance task on your engine. When done, reattach the positive terminal to the battery first, then the negative terminal. Close the hood.
