Car repairs are usually thought to be a hassle, but you can rest easy when it comes to making window repairs on your Ford Focus. A few simple supplies that you can purchase from an auto store are all you need. The repair is easy enough to do yourself without having to bring it to a professional.
Instructions
- 1
Mix mild soap and water in a bucket until sudsy. Wash the window down with a sponge, then dry it with a cloth.
2Affix the stabilizer to the window directly on top of the damage.
3Put the injector into the opening on the stabilizer, then put the resin tube inside the injector.
4Remove the injector cartridge to allow the flow of resin to begin. The suction between the cup and the glass will draw the resin out and into the cracks for repair.
5Detach the stabilizer from the window, then place strips of curing film over the entire repair. Wait a few hours or so for the resin to dry before removing the strips.
