Fiero Windshield Replacement Instructions

Because the Fiero sits low to the ground, it is prone to chips from rocks being flung from the tires of SUVs and trucks. Small chips and cracks may not look dangerous, but they can quickly spread and compromise the integrity of your windshield. If you don't repair or replace your Fiero's windshield, it may eventually shatter.

Clean off any residual urethane on the windshield frame using a wet rag.

Clean off the pinch weld area on the windshield frame with a cleaning brush, removing all debris.

Paint urethane primer onto the black edging of the replacement windshield.

Run a thick bead of urethane around the entire edge of the windshield frame.

Press the replacement windshield onto the windshield frame from outside the Fiero. Allow the urethane to cure for 25 hours before driving.
