In 2004, Ford completely redesigned the F-150, eliminating the bubble cab that it introduced in 1997 and replacing it with a more truck-like design. The 2007 F-150, still bearing the same body style, came standard in a regular cab format. Unlike the traditional regular cab, the 2007 F-150s regular cab had two small access doors on the rear. The base level 2007 F-150 included a four-speaker audio system; it had one speaker in each front door and one speaker in each rear access door. Removing the base level 2007 F-150s speakers is a straightforward task, but the rear speakers require removing the rear access door trim panels.
