The Honda 300EX is a small all-terrain vehicle manufactured by the Honda Motor Company since 1993. The 300EX has wheel bearings on each axle that are important for the ATV's suspension. You can purchase replacement bearings from your Honda ATV dealership or through online stores. You can easily replace faulty bearings on your 300EX in under half an hour, provided you have the appropriate tools.
Instructions
- 1
Remove the hub nut from the hub assembly of the wheel using a socket wrench. Pull off the hub assembly.
2Remove the axle nuts from the axle with a socket wrench. This will allow you to access the securing plate.
3Remove the bolts from the plate and pry it off with a flat-head screwdriver. Remove the plate.
4Pop the bearing out from the 300EX. Place the new bearing into the vehicle and make sure that it pops into place.
5Rub grease over the bearing to decrease friction and maximize the life of the bearing.
6Reattach the securing plate, the axle nut, the hub assembly and hub nuts.
