The SLGK-97 is a Go-Kart manufactured by SunL Motorsports. Boasting a 90cc single cylinder engine, the SLGK-97 is a popular and inexpensive Go-Kart. As with most vehicles that use gasoline, the SLGK-97 also uses a battery to provide the initial spark to start the engine. In order for the SLGK-97 to operate properly, however, the battery must be wired correctly. It is fairly simple to wire your SLGK-97, and the task should not take you more than five minutes to complete.

Put on a pair of clean gloves and locate the battery at the rear of the SLGK-97.
2Use a socket wrench to attach the positive terminal wire to the battery.
3Use a socket wrench to attach the negative terminal wire to the battery. Do not attach the negative terminal first.
4Test the battery by attempting to turn the SLGK-97 on.
