How To install Windows XP Pro SP2 Using USB Pen-Drive Compile By: CoDeCatcher

The Most Handy and Fastest Way to Reformat Your Computer. All you Need is USB PEN-DRIVE 2G or More.. Recommended USB (Kingston).. A Small Program Application called PeToUSB and ISO image File Of Windows XP Pro Sp2. You Can Use PowerISO to Mount your ISO image File. if you don't have ISO image file on your own try to download or search in Google :P

Download PeToUSB: Here

Follow This Step by Step Image Instruction Guide Below.


Download PeToUSB and Extract all the Folder Files in C:\ Directory.. Now Open usb_prep8.bat inside of usb_prep8 Folder. Press any key to continue..



Press Any Key to Continue ...



Click Start If ready to Format your USB Pen-Drive Warning all Data will be lost..



Operation Complete Successfully.. Click OK to Continue..



Open New "CMD".. Change your Directory to "bootsect" and type this in command prompt Without the quotes "CD C:\bootsect" and hit Enter.. Now Run bootsect.exe inside bootsect folder Directory. Type this command Without any quotes again "bootsect.exe /nt52 U:" and Hit Enter. if the updates was successful. Exit Command Prompt. Note: U letter is my Default USB Pen Drive Letter.



Change your Windows XP Path location.. Choose Option "Number 1" and Hit Enter..



Browse Your Widows XP Pro Sp2 ISO image File and Click OK..



Change Your Virtual Temp File.. Choose Option "Number 2" and Enter your Available Drive Letter.. The Default Letter is T .. or you Can Enter your available Letter you want in your Drive Directory..



Change your target USB-Drive Letter.. Choose Option "Number 3" Now Enter your Currently Drive Letter. My Target USB-Driver Letter is "U".



Choose Option "Number 4" and Press Enter..



Press Y and Enter..



Press Any Key to continue..



See the sample image..



Press Any key to Continue..



Copy Temp Drive Files to your USB Drive.. Click Yes .. and Wait ..



Would you like USB-Stick to be Preferred Boot Drive U:, Click Yes.. and Wait again..



Would you like to Unmount the Virtual Drive, Click Yes..



Press Any Key.. And YourDone.. you Have a Complete USB Pen-Drive Bootable.. Ready For Format..

and The last step is:

* Restart your PC.. Open Your BIOS SETUP
* In Boot Device Priority
* Select Your USB Pen-Drive Kingston
as your 1st Boot 2nd is your Hard Disk
* In Hard Disk Boot Priority
* Select Your USB Pen-Drive kingston
as your 1st Boot and 2nd is your Hard disk
* Save your Bios and Exit..
* You will see the 2 options:
2 GUI Mode Setup Windows XP Partition 2, Continue Setup + Start XP
1. TXT Mode Setup Windows XP, Never unplug USB-Drive Until After Logon

Select Option Number 1 and Hit Enter.. Press any Key to Run Setup.. just Finish the Setup and Wait your System to Restart. Don't press Anything just Wait Windows GUI Mode Setup Appear.

Note: Before Format, USB Drive must be your 1st Priority. USB must be at the 1st Boot in Bios Setup.. thanks ..
