Wiring the radio in your Mazda Millenia is fairly simple and there is only one wiring connector to install to the radio. The somewhat tricky part is removing the radio to access the wiring component. The radio in your Millenia is held in by four locking tabs. Once those tabs are released, you can pull the radio out to repair, replace or simply rewire it. The wiring procedure should only take a few minutes to complete.

Instructions

    1

Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry off the two plastic tabs from the front of the radio. This will reveal four small holes.

    2

Insert a Phillips-head screwdriver into each of the four holes and press in until you hear a click. This will release the locking tabs.

    3

Pull the radio out toward you. If the radio does not come out, make sure that you have released all of the tabs.

    4

Reach behind the radio to locate the wiring connector. Securely plug the wiring connector into the rear of the radio.

    5

Push the radio back into its initial position. Make sure you push it in all the way so that the locking tabs secure the radio into place. Reattach the two plastic tabs.
