Ford Motor Company produced its first van in 1961, the Econoline, and it held a straight six-cylinder engine that came in three sizes, found between the two front seats. In 1968, the engine moved forward as it is today, and included a V-8 in its available engines. Find the blower motor on a 1995 Ford E150 under the hood and on the passenger side bulkhead. Locate the blower motor resister used to control fan speeds next to the blower motor. The repair for the blower mower consists of replacing it.

Instructions

    1

Open the hood and identify the blower motor. Find it in the HVAC housing on the passenger side bulkhead. Its installation has it facing the driver's side. Pull the vent hose out of the blower motor.

    2

Pull the electrical plug from the blower motor. Remove the screws surrounding the blower motor securing it to the HVAC housing using the appropriate socket. Pull the blower motor, complete with fan, out of the housing.

    3

Remove the nut securing the blower fan to the blower motor drive shaft using a socket. Lift the fan off the shaft.

    4

Install the fan on the new blower motor drive shaft and secure it with the nut on the end of the shaft. Tighten it with a socket. Insert the blower motor and fan into the HVAC housing, align the holes and tighten all the screws.

    5

Plug the electrical connector into the motor. Push the vent hose in the hole in the blower motor.
