How to Hook Up Angel Eyes for FC3

Angel eye headlights, also referred to as halo headlights, are a popular modification that can be performed to your Mada RX7 FC3 car. Using an angel eye headlight kit, all you need to do is remove the old headlight assembly and install the angel eye assembly. It can be completed in less than an hour. Although angel eye headlights serve no real purpose in terms of performance, some think they are more aesthetically pleasing than traditional headlights.

Pull on the hood releasing lever in the RX7 to the left of the steering wheel. Lift the RX7's hood.

Disconnect the RX7's battery with a socket wrench. Remove the negative terminal first, then the positive terminal.

Disconnect the wiring connector from the RX7's headlight assembly. Squeeze in the two plastic tabs on the connector and pull on it to disconnect it.

Remove the four bolts securing the headlight assembly to the RX7. Lift the headlight assembly out of the engine compartment. Repeat this step with the other headlight assembly.

Place the two new angel eye headlight assemblies into the engine compartment where the old headlight assemblies were. Reconnect the four bolts to each assembly and reconnect the wiring connector to the assemblies. Reconnect the battery and close the hood.
