Defense of the Ancients also known in public as DotA, A custom scenario for the real-time strategy video game expansion Warcraft III The Frozen Throne. The first version of Defense of the Ancients was released in 2003 by a mapmaker under the alias of Eul who based the map on a previous StarCraft scenario known as "Aeon of Strife".After the release of Warcraft's expansion The Frozen Throne, which added new features to the World Editor, Eul did not update the scenario.

Other mapmakers produced spinoffs that added new heroes, items, and features. Among the DotA variants created in the wake of Eul's map, there was DotA Allstars, developed by modder Steve Feak (under the alias Guinsoo); this version would become today's dominant version of the map, simply known as Defense of the Ancients.

Steve Feak added a recipe system for items so that player's equipment would scale as they grew more powerful, as well as a powerful boss character called Roshan (named after his bowling ball) who required an entire team to defeat and take a drop item called Aegis of the Immortal. Roshan, the most powerful neutral creep in DotA,When Roshan is killed he will always drop an Aegis. Once A Hero picked up this item it gives a player Extra life in game battle.

Defense of the Ancients popular in many parts of the world, in the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore,Specially Asian region. Warcraft Version Switcher Guide

1. Extract the zip file Warcraft TFT 1.26a from above link.
2. Check the extracted folder and open "Wvs.exe" file application.

3. A warning message will come out, click ok.

4. Set your Warcraft 3 Folder.

5. The application will be closed. Open "Wvs.exe" again.

6. Click Switch Version Button (first button).
7. Double Click the Warcraft 3 version you want to switch.
8. The Warcraft 3 version will be switched.

On How To Use or Install War3 Theme Package and To Customize your Warcraft 3 Dota-Allstar Theme Appearance.

To Fix War3 Theme Registry Install
User cannot open registry file in Windows XP because of error message "Registry Editing has been disabled by your Administrator".

To fix this issue Download EXE file instead of REG file Here and Install to bypass registry restriction. After install, Copy "UI folder" and Paste in your Warcraft III directory, open frozen throne shortcut file and Boom you have now a customize war3 themes enjoy guys!
