The directional indicator lens of your Ford Fiesta is a part of the directional indicator assembly. In order to remove the lens, you will need to remove the entire indicator assembly from the engine compartment of the vehicle. Thankfully, it is a fairly simple procedure that should not take more than 20 minutes to complete. As the indicator -- also known as the turn signal -- is an important component of your Ford Fiesta's safety, you should make sure that it is always working properly.

Instructions

    1

Lift up the Fiesta's hood. Use a socket wrench to disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

    2

Disconnect the directional indicator's wiring connector by pulling it off the assembly.

    3

Remove the screws securing the assembly to the engine compartment with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the assembly from the vehicle.

    4

Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the lens off the assembly. Heating up the edges of the lens will make the process easier. Consider using a hair dryer at its highest setting or performing the process on a hot summer day.
