Many Chevrolet S10 trucks come equipped with side running lights, or SRLs. Although these lights are aesthetically pleasing, they often serve no real purpose for the driver or other drivers on the road. For this reason, many S10 owners choose to disable their SRLs to conserve the vehicle's battery life. You can easily disable your S10's SRLs by using a fuse puller to remove the SRL fuse.
Instructions
- 1
Lift up your S10's hood and disconnect the battery using a socket wrench. Remove the fuse block cover.
2Use a fuse puller to remove the fuse in Slot 5.
3Reattach the fuse block cover and reconnect the battery.
4Close the S10's hood.
