How to Replace the Antenna on an XC70

The antenna of your Volvo XC70 is located against the windshield in front of the vehicle's rear-view mirror. Although not necessary for driving, the antenna allows you to receive better reception for your XC70's radio which makes driving much more pleasurable. If the antenna is damaged, you can easily replace it by unscrewing the old one and installing a new one. Replacement antennas can be purchased at most automotive parts stores.

Instructions

Grasp the antenna with your dominant head and rotate it counterclockwise to unscrew it.

Remove it from the XC70 by pulling it away from the vehicle.

Install the replacement antenna onto the XC70.

Rotate the antenna clockwise to secure it to the vehicle.
